i rented a room for 2 nights, they charged me in United States dollars and didn't tell me that they weren't actually the water tower inn when i asked if i was speaking with the hotel, he simply said "I'm in booking." then i felt trapped, making the purchase under the impression i could cancel if given enough time, before March 31st, with full refund. this guy famboozled me and i was cornered into accepting his offer, which was still nearly double what I'd have paid had the transaction been made by the actual water tower inn staff. then when i called the water tower, they said it was 3rd party, i said i didn't agree to that, she said you've got to contact them, and now I'm here reporting them for being sneaky and manipulative, telling me that inn order to get a full refund it would need to be escalated, inn which case it could take days or weeks.
