I was asleep. Time was approximately after 4 a.m EST on October 16th 2026. I received a call from my moms exact phone number while i was asleep. She lives with me and is elderly so i answered thinking she needed help in her room. Some guy answered and said dont call the police, i have a gun and will blow her brains out, and that he wants money. There was someone in the background gasping for air while he was talking. I asked how much he was trying to get and he said like hundreds. After this super disturbing ordeal he hung up. I didnt call the police after realizing it was a scam but i was 100% having Ptsd and shooken up really bad. The evilness to do such a thing.
