Type of a scam: Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Received bill in the mail from Resource Business Products, P.O. Box 26561, Santa Ana, CA 92799 for $1,532.00 for toner. 4x 379.00 with $16 shipping. Called the number and as the other entry for these people said, "It was canceled because we didn't ship out the product." I asked who ordered it and he said it wasn't on the order. I asked where I could find them online for future orders and he told me they weren't online. Really? I then confronted him about scamming people. We don't even have one of those printers. He insisted they were a legit business. Told him I saw reports of them online. He asked where. I told him that he'd find out. I ended up hanging up on him. Check your invoices!

We received an invoice from a company called Resource Business Products for 4 toner cartridges that we did not order for $,1657.07. I called the number on the invoice and a person answered saying "Customer Service". We asked about the invoice. They asked the invoice number which I provided and was immediately told that order was canceled. I asked who ordered the products and who canceled and he said he didn't' know that it just said "front desk". We know this is a scam because we didn't order or cancel anything. They are targeting schools specifically. We are not the only one they have sent these invoices. I asked his name and he said " John Tucker" which seemed like he was not telling the truth. I asked if they have a website and he said no. I asked if we could order products from his business and he said he would have someone else call me back. Everything about this is a scam.

I received an invoice from Resource Business Products. I knew right away it was a scam because I do not even own this type of printer. I never received these toners. I could not find this business listed anywhere online. It is terrible to try to get money from companies who may not pay as much attention as they should to the invoices they are paying.

Received an invoice in the mail for toner - did not order any toner from this company-

We called the phone number and asked about the invoice.

We gave them the invoice # and they said (right away) " that invoice has been cancelled - someone from your office called (not true) and cancelled so nothing was

shipped " No one from our school called.

We asked his name: "Tom Anderson"

Received an invoice in the US Mail for toner from a company we are unfamiliar with. I called the number on the invoice and was quickly told it was a mistake, the toner was never sent, and the problem is resolved. The phone was answered by a person who said "Customer Service" not the business name. I cannot find a business by that name on the web.
