My Mum believed a video she saw on Facebook with Oprah Winfrey detailing her weight loss and encouraging people to purchase weight loss drops! My Mum has DEMENTIA and previous to this I had allowed her access to my PayPal account but I had firgotten to change the password when she became ill, I was checking my online banking and noticed a transaction of £247.90 paid to CARTPANDA, I attempted to cancel the order shortly after Mum placed it to no avail they said they couldn't cancel it as it had already been shipped ! That was on 28/07/2025
I contacted CARTPANDA and although they were sympathetic they maintain they are only a PLATFORM for the seller but have no responsibility for the loss of my money.
Thing is I never received a tracking number and the only one is the one showing on PayPal that states a DHL tracking that has been stuck on WAITING FOR NEWS FROM COURIER for several days. I have contacted both CARTPANDA and [email protected]. Sometimes CARTPANDA respond but [email protected] just completely ignore me. I was going to contact PayPal but feel they'll side with the seller saying I need to wait for delivery ( which I don't think will ever happen) or to liase with the seller which is impossible, obviously my Mum can't recall ordering these drops, and when I try to jog her memory she gets extremely upset, I now suspect this was yet another scam and there is no hope of me ever getting the money back.

Hi I purchased from them and decided to cancel the next day. They never got back to me untill item had shipped. Luckily I had paid through PayPal so contacted them and they gave me a full refund. I hope this helps 🙏🏽

Was like another victim and believed in the videos on Facebook. Desperate to losing weight, wanting to try the drops they were selling. Now they keep hounding me to call them and not sure if I will receive the drops or what they truly are. Having hubby check our CC account for any unauthorized charges.
