I started getting phone calls from odd numbers from various locations around the US, including 4706250601. They told me that they worked for the government and were with the Federal Funding Department. They also automatically gave me their name which was always a common name such as Adam Smith. They then proceed to tell me about money that the government wanted to send me for free. They mentioned money for unemployment and school...none of which applied to me. When I asked "Why?" or "The government doesn't make phone calls...why are you calling me?" or "Stop calling.", they would hang up or say "[censored] you!". I never gave them the opportunity to get far enough along to ask for personal information as I was asking all of the questions or telling them not to call.
