A gentleman called from a 415 area code identifying himself as a Citibank security person and there was a fraud on my “new” credit card, and they needed me to identify whether this charge was mine or not. After going around in a circle on the phone for a number of minutes they finally sent me to a supervisor, the tone was very threatening that I had done something wrong. I never opened a credit card and the people on the phone felt very sketchy. I hung up and they attempted to call back a couple of times they immediately set off all my Internal alarms.
