I received a phone call from a man identifying himself as Frank Newman from the “Federal Audit Commission.” He said I had won an $8 million prize and that a team would come to my home this week and escort me to my bank to deposit the funds. He asked for my name, address, age, and which bank I use. He said there were “state fees” that would be taken out of the prize money. He called from 412-328-3878 and later sent documents by email and left a voicemail labeled “Delivery.” I did not open the documents or provide any financial information. I believe this is a government-impersonation sweepstakes scam.
