The scammer had personal info like full social security number, current address, and the last 4 digits of an old bank account. The debt was supposedly from 10 years ago and I supposedly was sent a notice end of August with a 30 day dealine to respond. Of course there was no letter sent and I have not had an account with the bank they named. Conequence is a 25% wage garnishment that will commence beginning October 25. Then she asked if I had any questions, gave me 3 seconds and hung up.

A woman called my mother-in-law regarding to my husband and that he owed money from a payday loan, she had information that is public knowledge and that if we did not pay it they were going to garnish our wages and place a lien on our home and take us to court. After telling her that I will not be paying this, she became very rude and condescending. She then told me that because I was not paying it, that she was going to serve me "again" ( We have never been served in the first place) and that we are on a restriction of not being able to call back and that they will see us in court.
