About 2 months after buying a new car, we received this letter in the mail from Paul Friedrick of United Automotive Services. The lteer included a QR code and a phpne number. The letter said if we didnt call that number before October 10 that our eligibility for service coverage would be revoked. I didnt scan the code or call the phone number.

Received letter from United Automotive Services stating, "RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED". Letter requests my VIN number and current mileage on a newly purchased vehicle. Provides a 'Customer ID' and has my personal information (IE address + name). Letter is sent from 'Paul Friedrick, Program Coordinator' United Automotive Services. On back of letter it states in order to Opt Out of future contact to call 888-567-8688 or contact Equifax at PO Box 740123, Atlanta, GA 30374 or TransUnion at PO Box 505, Woodlyn, PA 19094.

I received a letter from a **** ********* at United Automotive Services asking me to call a number and report my VIN and mileage or risk losing our factory warranty because we did not contact them about "mechanical coverage" or to "replace our coverage" on "the vehicle you purchased recently." They say things like "this may be our only attempt to contact you about your additional mechanical repair coverage" and "we reserve the right to revoke your eligibility." I have never heard of this company before.

Scammer requested my car vin # and mileage by March 6, 2024. Or I will be denied mechanical coverage. There is a QR code to scan and a 10 digit customer ID # as well.

Multiple letters received stating my warranty/mechanical coverage was expiring and to call the number to re-up. I never got a warranty on my vehicle. There's no business address on the envelopes and they use stamps from the post office, not business printed. Lists the CEO as Paul Frederick, if you Google his name he does not exist and scan reports come up.
