I was waiting for a callback from a specific store . So I answered my cell phone when it rang, thinking it was going to be the company. I just left message an hour earlier with.

The caller asked if it is this Karry, I said yes, and they immediately said oh my headset‘s not working. I’ll call you back. and hung up.

I am so stupid. It was the get them to say yes scam on the phone so they can record it. I’m so upset with myself. I know better than that. I was caught off guard.

I answered a phone call about life insurance that I was supposed to have inquired about a couple months ago online. During the conversation I accidentally answered "yes that's correct" to a question and the call was immediately disconnected. I fear i have been the victim of "say yes" phone scam.

Answered a phone call on my cell phone from number I thought I recognized. Caller was muffled or very heavy accent and asked "is this "my name"?" I responded that I could not understand... on the third attempt the caller spoke slowly and clearly and I said the dreaded "yes"... the line was immediately cut off by caller and I immediately realized I had just responded the the "yes" scam and now a recording of my voice saying "yes" is with them.

I received a phone call from 859-390-1265. Someone said "hello" and I replied "Yes", and they immediately hung up. I strongly suspect they were trying to obtain my voice saying "yes" to attempt to create fraudulent authorizations for purchases using my information.

She repeatedly asked me for a six digit code that she texted to me - said she wanted to verify that I am a real person. Then, I read about the scam for doing exactly that and now I am afraid that she is setting up a Google Voice number linked to my phone number. Since I sent the verification code, the scammer will be able to complete the account setup and use that phone number to conceal their identity. Or, they can pretend to be me and open new accounts in your name.

I received 2 call from 253-520-5097 which I don’t recognize this number. On the first call he said “can you hear me, I guess we have a bad connection, I will call again shortly”. He called back immediately, this time calling me by my name, tried to verify my name. Only thing I said was “ who is this?” then he hung up.
