The person impersonated as xfinity customer rep and offered to reduce my monthly internet bill by 50%, if I pay my annual bill upfront using Target prepaid card. Their team of 2-3 folks already had my information like my address, xfinity account number, my monthly bill amount and using all this information, they were able to pay my remaining monthly bill on my behalf for which I received a confirmation message from xfinity, Enough to gain my trust and I paid them 600$ through prepaid cards just to realize later that it was all fraud. Total mental harassment when a big company like xfinity can share my information like that and then not have enough controls to authenticate the identity of a person whose making a payment.
