Type of a scam Tech Support

A man came to my house at 10:30am. No uniform, no badge. He had a magnetic xfinity sticker on his car (crooked). He said he needed to check my wires. I said 'shouldn't i need an appointment?!' He got flustered and rubbed his neck and said, 'i don't need inside ' . I told him to hold on.. i locked the door and wemt around to the garage. Locking all doors behind me. He was texting someone while he waited fot me to come back. Our security camera got pictures of him making eye contact with every camera. He fumbled around with some wires and said 'looks good' then wemt to his car. My neighbor had spotted him and was concerned. He stopped him at his car. He asked for a badge...didn't have one. He kept questioning him and the guy drove off. He had someone else.in the car with him as well. We called the cops amd xfinity. Xfinity verified they had not sent anyone out and no contractors should be in the area either. We gave all the pictures to CPD.

He had Florida tags and they were registered under a different name than the name he gave me.
