Got text from someone from probably one of the job boards and I qualify for their Sales Representative, Customer Service, Office and Administration support, etc. This is a Work from home job and went back and forth on text for like two days. On the second day, the person couldn't remember what company he/she was representing. The position pays $29-$60, negotiable and depending on level of experience. Everything was normal chat and the site seems professional. I requested the video chat with them. They said that it will be during the training after I signed the offer letter with my Bank Name (Red flag). I said that this is a scam and you should be ashamed of yourself doing what you are doing.

Johnson Miller contacted me about Administrative Assistant position with Xavier. Promised all office equipment via checks going through my bank. 2 checks deposited. 1 for $987 has gone through and sent via Zelle to a Jeff Odum. The other check is on hold at my bank. I have tried to find out more information since and keep getting same information. Yesterday I ordered new iPhone and iPad being sent to my address, which I cannot afford and paid taxes on both. He assured me that I will send to an address to be downloaded with software and will be sent back to me for work on Monday. Have not sent iPhone and iPad. Review of check deposited shows it being from a biopharmaceutical company in NC with O Winfrey’s signature. Employment letter is signed by Lewis Bryan, HR Department.
