ATTACHED is the email sent by Scammer-- using the WINTRUST MORTGAGE Logo, additionally, due to my home being in foreclosure--I thought the offer was coming from my mortgage company--but I was suspicious of the East Indian accent. They wanted me to verify ssn, address, etc. Jason Roy is an actual individual on Linkedin, but in way tied to WINTRUST, I alerted WINTRUST agent using their actual number off of my mortgage statement and Alerted them of the Scam, She informed me she would forward the details to their Fraud Dept.

Property – 4532 Old York Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19140.

This is to inform you that you are eligible for federal mortgage assistance plan (Loan Modification). Here are the details of the plan, please go through the terms & conditions.

Terms & condition of Loan modification :-

Regular monthly payment will be lowered by 20%.

New interest rate – 2.25%.

Monthly back due payments if any – will be adjusted towards end of loan.

Skipping any payment on the scheduled date, will suspend this plan immediately.

Suspension of the plan will lead towards foreclosure.

Escrow/default amount to be paid if negative.

A federal attorney is assigned for you. Who will be authorized to approve your loan modification. You will be provided with an approval of 3 trial loan modification payments. Skipping any trial payments on the scheduled date, will suspend the loan modification on immediate basis.
