My phone rang with a caller ID of West Valley LAPD Station. A young man with a foreign accent (my guess on the accent is Indian, but not 100% sure) asked to speak with me, referring to my legal name. I asked who was calling and he claimed to be officer James Anderson from the LAPD, and that I was speaking to a police officer. I said he did not sound like a James Anderson to me, and his reaction was to repeatedly request to speak to me (I never confirmed my identity), and this is not what one would expect from a police officer on official business. I hung up but it was concerning that they had my legal name.
