Have received many calls from a Albert Peterson claiming that I have won a large amount of money, and a car, but I need to obtain a loan against my vehicle before I get it. He states that he is from the State Treasury and an agent for the Walton cash rewards. Is this true

I received a call from a man named Howard Richards. He said he was from Walton cash awards company and told me and I was the second place winner of $955,000.. he also told me I would also receive a $50,000 bonus I guess that’s what he called it anyway I was not to tell anyone about my winnings and he gave me a code number of 32530RY his badge number was 1925CL, he told me he was calling from Las Vegas, but his number came up on my phone. He was actually calling from Saint Clairsville Ohio. He told me the attorneys name was Robert Golden, and that I would not have to pay any taxes or anything on the money I was winning. He also told me that I would be getting a 2022E class Mercedes Benz. . He told me I was to go to the store and get a green dot money Pak scratch card for $185. He told me if they ask me who it’s for to lie to them then I’m supposed to send a picture of myself to him when I get back from the store I am supposed to receive the cash and the car this Friday at 10:30 AM. He told me the delivery guys name would be Mr. Ray Kelly and the attorney for the company was Robert Goldman after I get the green dot memory Pat card for him. I am supposed to call him and give him I guess the numbers on it I don’t know what this kind of card is. He was very adamant about me not telling anyone about my win as because all the fake telemarketers would be calling me. He’s the fourth one to call me.. he told me to have a witness with me and that he would personally walk me into my bank and make sure everything was OK with cashing the check. I never called him back after all of this. He ask personal questions like married, divorced or single. What bank I’m with. If I had any credit cards. Questions that the IRS would never ask.I am so sick of these phone calls.

Received phone call from (267) 578-4679 from man claiming to be James Roberts. He indicated that Wells Fargo Treasury had a certified cashiers check for $17 million for us from Walton Cash Rewards a subsidiary of Walmart. He wanted to verify our address so he could come deliver the cashiers check accompanied by a member of law enforcement. We did not do this. He supplied a phone number to Wells Fargo Treasury 1-323-499-3093 followed by pressing #2 to verify information on how to obtain access to the cashiers check. It is an automated line that tells you that in order to access the $17 million - you must first pay $6,000.00 starting with a $900.00 deposit. This person called back 2 more times within the hour. He finally said that he would have his manager call us - I asked for his managers name. It was another man's name with the same last name of Roberts! I asked him if they were related - he said that someone thinks that they are cousins but he doesn't know.

I work at Walton Enterprises, the family office for the Walton family in Bentonville, Arkansas. We received a call today from a woman who claimed to have been scammed by "Walton Cash Awards." They were using the name of Christy Walton (one of our family members) as their CEO and promised a cash award of $950,000. The woman was told to send $400 money order to an address in Denison, Texas. She did send the money.
