Wall Street investment Reports & Reviews (12)

Luckily, I was already having a gut feeling about this company. They have my information, just not my actual ID. That’s what tipped me to research this thread. Indeed should not be able to share our personal information with just ANY employer that says they are looking for someone to hire. Indeed has really lost me. I hope everyone continues to be safe and stay diligent when it comes to these type of matters. SHAME ON YOU INDEED!

So, a little disclaimer here; I have NOT started working for them YET, but to be cautious I hit the internet to find out who exactly they are. In doing so, I found this web page. So, I'd like to add as much information as I can to help others.

I posted my resume on Indeed and LinkdIn, and received an Email regarding my resume for each site (2 emails total). That's what tripped me to the whole thing in the beginning. Their email is the same, [email protected], the phone number they had me call is (213) 855-1252, the numbers they texted me from are (213) 263-3937, and (213) 587-4985. The contact is Ronnie.

Everything was sketchy from the start from the way i was contacted to how i was hired with no interview. There was even a contract i signed that i am also guessing is fake. Then i did what i was asked for an entire week, including making a video advertising for Cyrpto IRA FX and i'm sure he is using the video to scam people with my name and face which is extremly upsetting. He has my info which is also scary, because i have no idea what he will do with it. Then tuesday he just stops responding to my emails like usual. I barley hear one word from him. Then the day before when asking for a paystub he refused to give it to me and said i have his word i'll get paid, like im dumb enough to buy that. So now when i really needed a job i was screwed out of time and money for nothing. This person calls themselves Ronnie and uses you to try to scam others. He basically makes you do his dirty deeds basically. He also has an accent if you ever talk to him. It's left me broke and in fear of losing everything i have because i have no money coming in. This has wrecked my whole life when i finally just got my [censored] together. I'm so angry it isn't even funny. If a job seems sketchy follow your gut instints. I wish i had of now.

Same story here with Wallstreet investment llc. I received a text message stating they found my resume on Indeed & if I was willing to accept a virtual assistant position for $20/hour! The process is shady itself because all communication are via text or email. Exemple: Hello. I’m Ronnie. I saw your resume on indeed. I need a virtual assistant that can work remotely from home. The pay is $20/hour. If you're interested, Send an email with the subject "Application" to humanresourcesteam@wallstreetinvestmentllc. c o m
Then it’s all like: email this address with the title “training” then they send you a contact to fill! So pretty much they have my personal infos including SSN & bank account info but it’s a scam.
Like you I was looking for a job and it seemed like too good of an opportunity … everything went fast like you’re hired today, you start tomorrow.
If we reach 100 people like me I wish to sue Indeed all together.
Thank you

I got a email from Ronnie saying he or she saw my resume and wanted to call me for more details about the job I provided my number he or she stated”they would call me in the morning 4hours from 7:15am then I never received a call and the gammer was misspelled plus a bolded subject line of HUMAN RESOURCES

This reeks of a scam! Firstly, the grammar was incorrect (your instead of you're or you are) and the request to go to a website that on the surface seems legit but upon further research is not. Secondly, (and this may not matter) if they are based in CA why have a homepage that proudly displays the London skyline? Thirdly, after reading reviews here and elsewhere there is no way I would apply. I refuse to give anyone my bank information let alone engage in money laundering. Fourthly, I am a professional mediator and LMFT by trade, so why would I be interested in a virtual assistant position? Just goes to show they have created a broad list and are trying to take advantage of anyone searching for a job.

i applied for remote/in home/ work from home jobs on indeed. then i recieved a text from a 213-237-1932 saying "hello, in ronnie. i saw your resume on indeed. i need a virtual assistant that can work remotely from home. the pay is $20/hour. if your interested, send an email with the subject "Application" to [email protected] so thats what i done(thinking this was legit since they said they found my infromation on indeed) anyway they told me to call 213-900-6837 well then a few messages later i got told to call 213-205-3968. so i did(1 red flag) so then they told me to go on the website and fill out an application so i did, the application was only like 5 questions and it wont even about your previous job information( red flag #2) so then i told him i wanted to inform my friend of this so maybe she could get hired and he said that he was only looking for one virtual assistant (red flag #3) then he tells me he will be in touch with me on monday for my training and that i needed to keep an eye out on my email for the details and they would do all the direct deposit info then. so once im off the phone with them i started doing more digging and came across this website and seen where the previous person said they asked for their bank log in, NO NO NO NEVER GIVE ANYONE YOUR LOG IN INFO DOESNT MATTER WHAT THEY ARE DOING FOR YOU, THATS A RED FLAG TO A SCAM! i learned that the hard way! should have knew better BUT i was being naive. i have now reported them and blocked them but i wanted to get my story out as welll. BE SAFE EVERYONE

like the previous person wrote i also had went on indeed looking for remote/in home/ work at home jobs and i recieved a text saying "Hello, Im Ronnie i saw your resume on indeed. i need a virtual assistant that can work remotely from home. the pay is 20/hour. if your interested, send an email with the subject "Application" to [email protected] ...i should have knew it was a scam but i thought since they seen my information on indeed that it was accurate but i was still skeptical, they told me to contact them on one number then sent me another number a few messages later. well they told me to fill out the application which was only like 5 questions which that gave me another red flag, ive never known any job to not ask alot of info. so anyway i asked him if i could tell my friend about it and get her hired on as well but he said that the business was only looking for ONE virtual assistant, once again i thought it was odd. so once they told me i could start on monday doing training we got off the phone and i started doing some more digging and found this website so im sharing my experience hoping no one else becomes a victim of whatever they are truly doing. plus i seen in the previous one something about the log in, NEVER give anyone (no matter what business they are in or doing for you) your log in! I HAVE LEARNED that the hard way. once they ask for your log in information JUST KNOW ITS A SCAM AND TAKE PROPER PRECAUTION.! BE SAFE!

I applied for a series of jobs on indeed.com. Shortly after posting my resume i received a phone call from this "company" a gentlemen with a middle eastern or indian accent told me i could make $20 an hour working from home. Knowing this sounded too good to be true i looked them up. Sure enough they have complaints for this exact same issue. They will try to get you to spend your money on things you "need for the job" but this is another level to their scam. Please take my advice and block them if they contact you. They will not reimburse you and they will not pay you. Youll be wasting your money and working for free.
