Type of a scam: Employment

This company (Aaron Rountree - Rountree Creative) hired me for work and never paid on time. They came up with excuses every month when pay was due and I eventually had to threaten legal action to get my final payment. I have many friends that are still waiting for thousands of dollars of back pay. He made promises that he never honored. Hosted giveaways and never sent the winners the large ticket items they "won." Beware of working for this individual.

Terrible leadership

I worked with this company for a several months and never received payment on time. Most of the time, the payment was 3-4 weeks late. I know several co-workers that have experienced the same thing. I have been promised health benefits that have never kicked in. I have seen this company double charge multiple clients and try to get away with it. Even when the client pointed out the extra charge, it would months to get a refund. I'm not sure how this company still exists. If you are looking to work here, stay away! If you are a client, watch your charges carefully and know that there are many employees working for you that are not getting paid on time or at all in some cases.

Type of a scam: Employment

In August of 2020 I was approached by Aaron Rountree, the CEO of Vive Media Co (and Rountree Creative his parent company).

I was offered a six-figure salary and asked to be flexible on payment terms until January when I would receive this full-time salary with benefits. I was encouraged to accept that I would get payments for the business that I sold. Numbers that continued to be reduced, and/or never arrived.

This led to January where my offer was cut in half and changed in scope, and still, no payments promised at the pay scale set had been recieved. There were partial payments made late through all of September to December.

During my "employment" I helped to sell close to 100 clients, better design his business amongst many other things. It is now March and I have STILL not recieved the full payment, timelines honored, or tracking numbers for payments committed to be sent.
