As the accounts payable rep for our company I received an email with an invoice to pay for services discussed to be rendered. This email also seemed to outline direct correspondence with my management as if he had been emailing with this company directly. Attached to the "forwarded" email from my management was an invoice as well as a W9. Upon closer inspection, the email was forwarded from a fraudulent email with his name only, he did NOT have any correspondence with this company and none of the supposed correspondence actually came from him.
