Well I got a text message from a number claiming the usps couldn't give me my package and I would need to go fix it. So I typed in the website that they sent and it was asking for .3 cents for re delivery but was asking for my card information. I didn't put my card information I simple clicked out of the website

I was told that my package was held up by the usps. They asked for my new mailing address to make sure that it was correct. Then they asked for a credit card so that they could charge me thirteen cents for redelivery. USPS Does not charge for redelivery.

i ordered something internationally and they claimed the zip code was invalid and had to be corrected in order to be delivered. i clicked and inputted my name, address and email and then it asked for credit card information for redelivery and i exited

Hello,

I received the following text today (Wednesday 10/9/2024). I coincidentally went to a USPS earlier today, which I seldom do, to deliver an online retail return for my mother to send back to the seller. Unfortunately, I did fall for it. I was prompted to enter in information at the link for her home address, phone number, and e-mail. I entered these in then on the next screen was asked for a $0.23 payment to cover the package re-sending fee. I entered my credit card number then submit, but nothing happened. I then tried it using my debit card, and nothing happened either. I then realized (too late) that the link in the text message didn't look right. I have a feeling I was phished. I called my bank and canceled all my cards and requested replacements. I am now afraid for my parents after putting in my mother's address believing that USPS couldn't read her address on the package (reasons I thought they were sending me the text). Does this put the safety of my parents at risk since I inputted their home address?

The US Postal team wishes you a wonderful day!” and i did order something from usps literally 2 days before so i wasn’t aware it was a scam, i stupidly opened the link and they said they were gonna charge me 3 cents for redelivery so i put it my card info and later on my mom told me its not real so ive already taken all my money off the card and i have yet to cancel it but yeah.

Said a package could not be delivered as rhey did not have my address gave me a link to add my correct address. I clicked it and entered my address when i hit submit it asked for a redelivery fee the number it came from was 972-841-8343

Text message about zip code issues with my package from out of the country. Told me to reply Y, then click a link. I replied Y, but then checked to see if it was a scam. Sounds like it is. I am expecting a package from out of the country. Do the scammers have access to US Customs data and phone numbers?

I had mailed something the other day and was almost positive I forgot to put the zip code on it and then I got a message saying that I needed to resubmit the address as the zip code was missing and I needed to pay a fee. I put in my discover card and it said declined and I felt like something wasn’t right and when I looked up if mailing had a redelivery fee it said that this was a scam.

I did order something via Facebook:Optifuel from Ozziemozzie. Received order confirmation number via email. The above message received via phone text. I did not reply, I did not open the link. I have not been compromised that I know of, but want you to be aware.

I was expecting a pkg & I rec'vd a text saying it was delivered to my front door by LaserShip. It was not delivered to me at all. I reported to Walm & they are sending a replacement. So in the middle of the night (3am) I rec'vd a text supposedly from usps (my pkg was being delivered by LaserShip) saying my pkg was on hold due to incomplete address & follow this link for instructions. I did not click the link but reported it to reportfraud.ftc.gov. I have received this text in the past when I was not expecting a pkg & I knew it was fraudulent then. But now I wonder if LaserShip & this fraudulent text are connected or is it just coincidence?
