My wife and I took a concealed carry / gun safety course. The shop salesman sold the class subscriptions to US Law Shield. Nearly all of us at the class bought an annual subscription. The annual rate went up from $75 to $240. I tried to cancel several times. The 'member' phone line was ALWAYS busy. In an attempt to cancel via email - The standard email reply from US Law Shield said to call the member number - OR - to provide the information in an email that I had already sent. I called the salesman at the gun shop and he said the store no longer does business with US Law Shield. (Geez, no wonder). I called the merchant number on the credit card statement - always busy. Then asked the credit card company to bock annual payment the week before it was submitted. Law Shield then used a different merchant number to make the annual charge against my credit card! What a bunch of crooks. Working through dispute resolution with credit card company. Next step will be to cancel the credit card to be free of these parasites.
