My daughter found a website when she was looking online for golden doodles. (She looked up so many, she couldn't pin point which one went to the scammer) but someone emailed her from [email protected] saying that her brother had died, and left his golden doodle behind, and that she couldn't take care of it. And if she went on and on about the dog. I asked for pictures and a video, and they provided them. And after several conversations, she stated that if she could pay for shipping, she could have it if she promised to take care of it, and send pics. So we sent money to a PayPal account, and then she said the dog should be delivered by 12pm the next day. So the next day came, and someone from the shipping company stated they needed $710 for the dog crate, because the crate isn't up to standard, and that's when I told them they were scammers. They tried to tell me, that they were a legit company because of the tracking information, and they were going to turn the dog over to the pound, and I would be responsible for the fees, and I could get into legal trouble for dog neglect.
