My business contacted this company in Sept 2022 to make us a custom boat that would then be used as a tour boat. After lots of discussion we submitted our down payment of 18k with the tentative completion by summer 2023. Once spring came around we reached out and we’re told we would not have this boat until At least 2024, putting our company out of business that whole summer causing us a massive loss of money. Understanding they were busy we had our agent reach out and they gave every excuse in the book including the owner passing away (which was confirmed this did happen). Obviously very sympathetic to that happening we were not looking to pull this company down just wanted our down payment back. They informed us that would NEVER happen. So I did a little research and found out the owner passed away in March, prior to our initial contact with the company. Wait it gets better. I was having email conversation with the owner. Signature in the email and all. Who was dead the whole time. Mega fraud being committed there and they still won’t give us our money back or anything. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want your boat done before 5 years. Afraid this case is going to have to move forward to law enforcement
