Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

This man called me around 12:45 pm on 7/21/202old me his name was John Perez ,Gave me this number saying it was his. 1-205-2938. Told me to call this number for the JFK Airport International 866-978-4767 Saying to call that number because I had won a Sweepstake contest from USA Today from LA , Neveda. That I won 2nd place at $1.2 Million Dollars. He also gave me this number saying it was USA Today in LA,Neveda. Which is 702-979-1800. I called that number and a man answered ,never saying he was from USA Today. So I questioned him about it. He could not explain why he forgot to say Hello, I am ..... From USA Today. Well, I hung up on him. Then I get a call back where he left a message , saying this was not fake . That I just had to call JFK International & give them this id # 396477US. He said they paid all Federal Tax's but that I would have to Pay my States tax with it. Which I live in N.Y. I looked up USA Today phone number & it was 703-854-3400. I could not get any where as it was a machine that answered. Also he said in the package at JFK International the package was sent there in March & that Gov. Cuomo was
