A man called me claiming to be from the office of consumer affairs in Virginia telling me that I had $1975000 on February 14th 2022. He was calling because I had not responded to collect my winnings I then spoke to a man in Rochester New York who told me I needed to get a surety bond to be able to get my money. Because I'm old Andpoor that's was very Is tempting but I figured it was a bunch of bs so I Did some research And sure enough it's a scam.

I received exactly the same phone call as the person above. For the exact same amount of money $975000 But first I needed to pay a surety bond. They sounded very professional and it was all quite elaborate but I haven't sent them any money and obviously after reading her experience I won't be sending any money.

Received phone call from Alice Jones asking did I enter a sweepstake. said I was second place winner $975,000.00 and had sent 2 certified letters. didn't receive them. Said time was almost up but could still collect money and needed bond of $9,750.00 which would be refunded. gave Bank of America phone # 877-276-5140 and check number to confirm valid and also National Gaming Control Board phone # 855-359-8304 to confirm government regulations concerning large winnings. I called National GC Board and talked to Mike Miller. He said because I was over 70 bond was only $1,950.00. gave me name and address to send blank money orders from post office and fill in this persons name on money orders so there would be serial numbers to track by NGCB. Jane A. Breede, 118 Bridge Street, Dedham, MA. i called Bank of Am in Mpls and 5140 is not a valid # for them. I called Nevada gaming board and they new nothing about NGCB but online it is in Paupau, New Guinia even though the address for them was the same as the Nevada gaming board. 555 east Washington Ave, Suite 2600, Las Vegas, NV 89101 although the fax from 877-548-5336 said the head office was at 1100 4th Street SW, Washington, DC 20024 John Delaney, claims dept director
