US Mystery Shopper

I got a cashier's check from US Mystery Shopper for $2356.00. They wanted me to buy $1850.00 worth of Ebay and Apple gift cards and two or more stores. To see if the restricted the limit of cards I could buy among a few other things. I take a picture of the back of the cards with back panel scratched off to reveal the codes and send the picture to the email address provided. I was to take out $406.00 when I deposited the check.

Received a United States Postal Service with a letter with introduction, and a check of $2950. I would need to go buy eBay gift cards worth $2450 then

I knew this was a scam. It’s too good to be true.

I received a letter through US Priority Mail and check for $2,450 and instructions to purchase $1,850 in EBay gift cards. The letter said I had applied to be a mystery shopper, which I never have, although I have searched for sites about how to become one. The check looks real and the letter looks professional and is detailed with 2 exceptions: there are 2 grammatical errors, and there is no company information, essentially no company name or company identifier. The signature is "Customer Service Analyst, Inc".

I received a letter with a cashier check in the mail stating I had been selected as a Mystery Shopper. I am suppose to deposit the check, then when it clears my bank go buy ebay gift cards with the money from the check. Once I buy the cards I'm suppose to scratch off the back to reveal the codes. Take clear pictures of codes & receipts & send it to them!

Sent me a check and poorly typed instructions to do a secret shop via certified USPS mailer. Now is emailing and texting me to complete the task asking for gift cards. I threw away the check and instructions but next time I'll snap a photo of them before I do. Mailing address was some womans name out of Washington I think and the address on the "credit union" was from Wisconsin.

Got text message on cell stating I will receive a package with an assignment in it. The next day got envelope in us postal service with a job for mystery shopper attached wash a 2400 dollar cashier check. 300 dollars was for me after I cash cashier check go to Walmart buy 2000 worth of ebay gift cards all different amounts totally of 2000 dollars worth and also evaluate customer service at Walmart then scratch bar codes off gift cards take pictures and send to [email protected] if done with 24hrs i can keep 400 dollars. I never applied for a job now they keep texting me asking me for ebay gift cards

I signed up to be a mystery shopper on the usmysteryshopper.com website. Within a day a get an email from this guy saying I was approved for an assignment for Walmart gift cards. Then the guy starts texting me asking if I received the package or not and that I needed to confirm it asap. I open the priority mail the next, and there's a cashier's check for $2800 and a sheet of instructions (poorly made instructions with quite of bit of typing errors). It said I needed to deposit the check into my account, keep $300 for myself, and use the remaining to buy 5-$500 Walmart gift cards. I called the bank because I knew it had to be a scam, and sure enough it was. I texted the guy saying that it was a scam and to not contact me again, and that I hope he would get Ebola. He has now started to email me again. I told him once again, do not contact me or else I will castrate him and make him eat his own self. Ironically, he said he contacted the police with my address, to "investigate", ha. I hope he would so I could file a counter complaint and get him arrested on fraudulence and harassment.
