My husband received a letter in the mail that says US Department of the Treasurer Bureau of the Physical Service. It said funds may be withheld from SS payment. It said he owed a debt and that the Treasurer would hold up to 15% of the SS payment. My husband called it this morning and her was on hold with a recording for over 30 minutes. He hung up and then called the local SS office. He received a call while he was on the phone with the SS office. When he took the call the person on the other line he told my husband was randomly selected to pay $2,000. My husband told him just a moment he had another call. The man began cursing and insulting my husband and my husband hung up.
