FINALLY RECEIVED MY HAIR! so after waiting 3 weeks I received my hair. I understand they may be backed up but some sort of communication should have been placed. I received help
From both Leslie and Zaire and got my 3 bundles and wig I ordered that totaled almost $500. I was pissed and also reached out to the attorney generals office. The attorney generals didn’t do much I guess because this is a legit company, however they did reach out and apologized and I did receive. Decided to come back and clear my statement.

I got my hair too though? And I’m not lying y’all weird af for thinking everyone is a lie! Like mad [censored] weird [censored] b[censored] on here. If I was her I wouldn’t even defend it cause she clearly posted a picture. I was also mad af and got my order.

Like you really think your “customers” are stupid? That we would believe this?

And here they go making fake reviews ... how convenient ur the only one who received hair

Wow! I must say that this is disheartening reading all of these posts. I too, have been scammed by this company. I placed 2 orders on August 23rd. I have been given the same excuses as everyone else here. I find it interesting that this company has the audacity to ask for an order number in order to fix it, as if it is our responsibility to keep providing this information. This is disgusting! The worst part about it is I, just like everyone else, was excited to support this company because they are black owned. I will not let this rotten apple of a company stop me from supporting other black owned or small businesses because of their ratchet business practices.

Worst company ever. Order number 27318. I placed this order 10/23/2020 almost 2 months ago. They said the order would take 7-10 days to ship. On the the third day I ask about the order and they said the wig is out of stock and on back order. I Was livid because why would you not mention that before you take $344 from me. As a customer I should have knew that you didn’t have the wig in stock before hand so that if I do choose to buy it, the wait will be on me. They refuse to give you your money back yet they have no merchandise on hand. Why so quick to take people money but then can’t even give it back. Do Not order from this company at all. They are the worst. Tomorrow makes two months since I purchased this wig and still nothing.

This company is a perfect example of reasons not to support black owned or small businesses. TERRIBLE customer service. FALSE promises. LIES, LIES, LIES. My order was placed a month ago and is yet to be shipped. This has nothing to do with the post office or the pandemic, because the order was never shipped out to begin with. They are now telling me that I cannot get a cash refund but a store credit. What the [censored] am I supposed to do with a store credit when you do not ship out orders? I want my money the same way you took it but did not snd out my product. They are fraudulent and there is NO excuse for this. NEVER will I patronize or recommend them to anybody.

I ordered 2 wigs Nov 16 and I don’t have anything as of today. I’ve reached out to them on every single platform and they are only offering store credit... So WTF is store credit going to do when you don’t ship any of your orders... EVER. How does that make any sense? I want a refund so I can take my money else where not continue to deal with not having the wigs I want. Either send people their purchases or give them their money back. Complete trash company that should be shut down! Scammers

You try to support black owned businesses, but sometimes they are the ones that take advantage of you. I placed an order six months ago, the only thing I got is a bunch of bull[censored] lies. Enough already. Trust me, I am gathering all communications I have had with this shady company. Paper trails gets results. How can you sleep at night knowing you are taking advantage of people like this. This has to stop not now, but RIGHT NOW!

I placed an order November 6th today is December 15th. All they have done is lied to me. I received a fake tracking number days ago that has yet to update. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company! I complete scam! I’ve been texting a number that they have someone responds days later with a lie each time! I emailed them never received a response. They’ve also blocked me from commenting on ig because I was saying things under the post. Please do not support this business they are a rip off!

They don’t even have the decency to fake a shipment with me lmao, I ordered October 21st - and when I say CRICKETS, I have heard nada about a shipment. Just excuse, after excuse, after EXCUSE. I placed an order with them almost 4months ago and never received my order. I kept hearing that it was top priority but it was all a lie. I got store credit back and decided I would try again to place an order with them since I couldn’t get my money back even tho I placed my first order BEFORE that policy was in place. I placed a second order. The number was 22676 and that was over 2 months ago. This company is a complete scam and ever time I see an ad I will let people know to never order from them because you will never ever receive a thing.

We are deciding not to post or comment on this page moving forward. We have tried multiple times to reach out to many women on this page to resolve and fix issues. We have resolved over 70% of the complaints on this page however some women on this page rather have a platform to complain rather than find a resolution. We have been told that some will not sent order numbers, they rather sue, “expose us” or just call us a scam every day on this page. We are 100% a black owned company operating in one the of the hardest years. We are being compared to Asian brands and constantly getting on this page that we are not real because shipping is fast in other places. We are not every business and most hair business are Asians meaning their supplier is most likely themselves and most easiest to reach and grab product. For many cases on this page if we could not deliver your product in a timely manner we have issued a refund. If you have not received a refund you are contacting the wrong Person or department. We have also provided proof of ownership and who is in charge and get their are still claims for someone that doesn’t do business with us. We are deciding not to continue to entertain this page as most women that are looking for resolution come to us so that we can fix it. There are many complaints now that this page is full of disgruntled people that rather have a platform to complain then get problems resolved. We are also told on this page we have a “F” on bbb, well so does kendras boutique and fashionnova and people still purchase from them. These ratings to do not tell you about a business and it doesn’t mean that it’s not a great business. Our real customers that have seen and met us in person love our customer service and product and yes shipping is slow this year but we once offered overnight shipping that was extremely fast before COVID. Please do all research before you come a page bashing a company and claiming their a scam due to product taking longer than normal in a year of a pandemic. Shut up! You are a terrible black owned business that’s what you are! I’m a black woman so I wouldn’t dare down talk a black owned business! But you guys are a disgrace! You have scammed so many people, no one is trying to destroy you this is the truth and I have proof!

Your favorite go to is that you will sue to deter people from speaking about your shady business practices. Fashion Nova can indeed be a beast of its own. I’ve personally experienced a $400 order go unfulfilled with them for absolutely no reason years ago, and of course their policy is also store credit only, but how can you give me credit for something YOU failed to deliver on? I called my bank and resolved through them when fashion nova decided they weren’t going to do anything, so this brings me to issue #1, you cannot threaten or use language to deter people from contacting their bank because YOU failed to fulfill your obligations. That bank is their to protect their customer. It is not fraud to dispute a charge for an item that appears to never be coming. #2, if you issue is inventory, why are you pushing sales, lying to people saying your shipping will take 5-7 days, and giving out free wigs? The math isn’t mathing. #3, are you just not going to acknowledge the fake review(s) orrrrr? You cannot sit here and say everyone here is providing false information child. This many people having the same or similar stories isn’t an issue to you? And “disgruntled” is a disgusting way to refer to people who have in good faith tried supporting this business. As I said when I spoke to KAREESHA CARTER in July of this year, if it were just me, I would’ve let it go, but you’re doing this over and over to people who read your policies and don’t realize they have a right to protect their money and don’t have to sit around waiting 4+ months for an order that isn’t coming. Your bio claims Amazon and Aliexpress who? The Amazon and aliexpress that offers communication and actually has the product to send out to their paying customers.

Any lawyer that has contacted us has not had a case as we are a real business during a pandemic year. If we were such a scam we would most definitely be in jail or huge lawsuits. No cases have went through as we are REAL. REAL PEOPLE, REAL PRODUCT , slow shipping. So threatening to sue or take legal action isn’t ok when all things can be resolved within the business.

To add we are also suing “scam pulse “ for this platform to bash our company. Legal action are being taking on all claims on this page as we are not taking this lightly. We have a huge legal team that’s I’ll be taking care of this page and all involved. As this is defamation of character and false information as most claims on this page have been handled 100%

I wish I came across this page before ordering. It is so frustrating to try and do good, thinking you're supporting a Black Business Owner, only for them to commit fraud and take hard-earned money.
I too have placed an order, hoping to receive my unit for a wedding. and hereafter reading all these testimonies infuriates me more. I think everyone should file a complaint with all eCommerce merchants and file a formal complaint about their bad fraudulent practices.

I placed an order in June of this year and got the run around like everyone else here. I created a now deleted IG account to call out the shadiness and get other customers input. I was first blocked by UELB then threatened with lawsuits that were never going to happen. K.Maldonado (at that time, K. Carter) reached out and introduced herself on that page as the owner, so in her own words she had some ownership in this business until at least July 2020. Anyway, she asked that we talk by dm and I explained the whole get down and even told her that if it was just a me thing, I would’ve just called my bank and moved on, but after realizing so many people had the same issue, I knew something was up. She then wanted to talk by phone, and we did.Again, the person I spoke to alleged to be K. Carter. She extended her apologies and gave excuses that echo those written by UELB here. She then 1) refunded my purchase 2) offered a free wig of my choice 3) provided a credit to my account on UELB and 4) said we would have a follow up call that Thursday (we spoke on a Tuesday. We never had a follow up call, and I never received the free wig. I did however receive a credit that was more than enough to cover the cost of another wig without having to come out of pocket. I still didn’t trust this company but a month later I said wth and decided to place a second order using the credit. Since I knew I wouldn’t be out of any money, I figured it wouldn’t hurt. I ordered in august and here we are in December and still no wig, but the same stories and excuses are circulating. I received a second, I think $20, credit after inquiring about the wig. I’ve played nice in text/email correspondence because again, I didn’t lose anything, but for everyone who paid your own money, even if you went through Klarna, CONTACT YOUR BANK. You aren’t getting your wig, sis. Don’t let these empty lawsuit threats deter you from disputing the charge. They cannot sue you for calling your bank to protect your money for an obligation that was not fulfilled. Repeated charge backs from a single company does not look good, and UELB knows that hence the policy change. Klarna may also look into reconsidering taking the business owners side if they begin to get hit with charge backs as well. As others mentioned, contact the FTC, report on IG or Facebook, and even report to BigCommerce (the site through which the UELB website is ran). I’ve ordered 4 wigs from China and one from the US between July and November and received all products in two weeks or less, so no, COVID, wildfires, alien invasions, Barney and no other excuse UELB can come up with us the reason you don’t have your item. It’s them. Anyway, my second order was updated to preshipment (ha!) so I’m gonna go click on that link for the next 30 days and watch the tracking information never update.

This is my FINAL EMAIL TO THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. The send me your order number propaganda no longer works for those of us that know this is just blatant THEFT & THIEVERY! Please read my email and understand that this company has voided every contractual obligation to their customers and they have no recourse. If you have an email from this company stating that your item has shipped and then follow up emails stating that your order HAS NOT shipped yet; that’s all you need to exhibit FRAUD! So if you are interested in filing a class action suit against this company let’s do it now before they skip out on us all together...which I’m sure is coming NEXT! Here’s my email to management...

WHERE IS MY ORDER? WHERE IS MY MONEY? This wig was needed in November and here we are in December and that bogus tracking number you gave me still says the same thing! My patience has completely worn with your company, your lack of professionalism and last but not least your lack of EMPATHY for the people you have swindled money out of. So I’ve been patient as I’ve tried to give you EVERY benefit of the doubt. However you continuously fail to deliver as you have promised in the previous emails which is an automatic breech of contract. The shipping time you asked for was allotted to your company and then some which is another breech of contract. So at this point your offer to for store credit has NO legal leg to stand on since you as a vendor/business have failed to live up to your contractual obligations. So if I do not receive any new up to date information regarding my order (and DONT send me the information I have already attached in this email); I will move forward with legal action. This is no longer about the money this is about business ETHICS & you’re lack thereof. I will be waiting for my new shipping details.

Going on 2 months now since I purchase hair from them, and am still waiting on shipment that can’t seem to arrive at all

Same here I ordered my wig Oct 17th and still nothing as of today!

I ordered a wig on October 14 ( order 23559).

It was never delivered, nor have I been given the refund ( or an email confirm the refund has been processed from then end) .

They started by telling me they were waiting on shipment from there supplier that my wig was on there next shipment arrival.

Then I get an email in nov saying their supplier run out of the wig I ordered... and that they have refunded me that I needed to wait 5 to 10 business days.

I have had over 13 emails back and forth with them saying the refund is shown in there end yet they still haven’t provided me with a refund confirmation email.

It’s been now over 3 weeks since they say I’m refunded... and I can’t get a hold of anyone either by email, text or phone.

This is stealing and needs to be reported.

You typed all of this to say absolutely nothing. First and foremost, what kind of response is this from a business? Next, you aren’t refunding people. You’re giving some bogus store credit that isn’t worth anything because there’s no product to use the credit on. You’ve been crying covid since this summer, yet continue to push promos and giveaways. What are you giving away or selling at this point when people are telling you they have not gotten their product since four+ months ago? Your IG has been mysteriously quiet lately. You running out of other peoples products to post? Why aren’t your tagged photos, or even your own IG feed full of your own “millions” of happy customers? Why are the only positive reviews found on your business page in which you control what reviews stay and go? Why was K. Carter in Facebook comments reviewing “your product” as if she is/was a regular customer and not a business partner? Why do y’all keep asking for order numbers? How is it that my order went to preshipment the very next day after my unpteenth email (this also happened with my first order)? Did the stock magically appear after I asked for an update, or are you trying to keep me out of your inbox for a couple of weeks? Why are you limiting or deleting the comments of the people who are asking legit questions about their items? I have dropped my blasted order number since September and I still never received anything. You all have held the wig without shipping it. I already called Usps and they stated your company has not given Usps my order.

Call your bank dispute the transaction that’s what I did I sent all my emails stating they shipped it and didn’t sent them the tracking number so they can see my order been sitting in preshipment since October I got my money back now visa is going after them

See I don’t understand, why are you guys come over here defending yourselves. When I send messages to the people I am required to send a message to. That’s listed on here multiple times. And I have yet to get a resolution. Why would I put my order number on here if I’m sending messages to the people you’re requiring for me to send messages to and I’m still not getting my money back nor my still not getting my order. This company is by far the worst. I wanted to support them because they claimed to be black owned. I even join my cousin on her YouTube doing reveiw on products. She has a big following so I wanted to start with joining her. This was going to be my first product that I picked and guess what I had the same experience everyone is complaining about. Since then I've received not one but 2 wigs from luvme, 1 from rpghair and another company so why does this company always complain about shipping? Against my better judgment I used my credit to order a wig 10 days ago and it's still awaiting fulfillment but I WILL be getting on her YouTube and also my Instagram and Twitter n letting everyone know NOT to order from this company. So that's going to be out pre Christmas video on who/what not yo buy. So I'll see if anything changes by the 20th, which I'm sure it won't. It's sad how ppl take advantage of others, especially right now
