A person texted me whom I thought was my friend. It showed her picture. She aked me if I'd heard her good news. A day later she texted again and said she had received a grant for one hundred thousand dolars and I could get it too. I said no, it sounded like a scam and I was not interested. The next morning she texted me again and said it was legit and to show me it was, she'd help me to pay half of the fee of 850. Thinking this was really my friend, I considered and wired the people at United Nation Grant Money half of the fee. After they received it, they told me to ask my friend to send her part. Then they claimed she was short of funds and only had a fraction of the money. They asked me how much did I have and needed to get it to them before the truck arrived with my package. Then my so called friend texted me and also said I needed to come up with the rest of the money because she did not have it. That's when I realized it was not my friend at all. Later that day, I found out that my friend's account had been compromized and I was not the only victim.
