The scammers used a reputable business name “Ulta” and marketed ads on Instagram who is owned by Meta and I clicked on the ad believing that I was purchasing products from Ulta but it was a London based scammer using a website named www.dkipee.com and I wasn’t aware of this issue until I saw the charges on my account. I called my bank and I was told that the charges were pending but they were successfully processed. However, I received an error message from www.dkipee.com posing as Ulta claiming that the card being used can not be used for purchasing the products. Initially, I believed this to be odd as my checking account has the available funds to cover the expenses and I was told that scammers are using this practice on social media sites like Meta. Beware.
