Had an attempt by “txtvrfy” to take $40 out of my Chime account. It didn’t go through because of an incorrect expiration date, but it still made me nervous. I unlinked and then deleted my CashApp. I’m still concerned that there’s a scam going on taking peoples’ money!

Txtvrfy has made several attempts to debit $40 from my chime account. My transactions were turned off thankfully and the debt did not happen. Txtvrfy continues to try to debit $40. I made calls to chime and they were of no help.

I woke up to a text from Chime saying TXTVRFY WYUS tried to withdraw $40 from my account. Thankfully Chime blocked the transaction.

They hit my card on Monday. Tried to dispute the charges, it was denied. I have reported Txtvrfy to the Federal Trade Commission, I made them aware of how they do multiple charges, the fake phone number, etc.

Woke up to a text from chime asking if I made a purchase to TXTVRFY for $40. I replied with No and they blocked the transaction for me so no money was taken from my account and I immediately went to cash app and unlinked my bank account and deleted the app. I am thankful that my bank caught it and blocked it

Saw a charge go through my Chime from TXTVRFY last night for $40 and as I was logging in to look at it, another attempt for $20. Fortunately there wasn't enough on the card for the 2nd charge to go through. I rarely use this Chime account and only keep a couple hundred dollars on it anyway. I was thinking of using it more, but if they can't protect my money better than this, I will just go elsewhere. Very disapointed.

CHIME Cash Pending

I woke up this morning and looked at my account and I noticed two transactions from TXTVRFY for $20.00 and $40.00 I called CHIME and they closed my account and sending me a new card but because it's not cleared yet I can't officially dispute it. This is messed up because they are still holding on to my money. I have no clue who they are I never did anything with them period. Thank God this isn't my only account.

Turn of transactions on your card under settings. You can turn it back on when you need to use it and turn it off again when not in use. BUT, since the card has been compromised I would advise switching transactions off and requesting a new card.

Woke up this morning to a text from chime asking if I authorized a $40 payment to txtvrfy. Thankfully I was able to decline it. I’m not sure where they got my info but I see a lot of cashapp complaints and that’s one of the places I had my card linked to. They need to be investigated.

Cash App Scandal

Someone from Cash app is selling users information. This so called Txtvrfy stole $20 from me. If I didn't catch it in time it would've been more. This started in May 2022 and still going on til this day. Got an alert on my phone for a transaction that can't go through because I've blocked the merchant. Opened up my cash app and here these scammers are still attempting to steal money from my cash app. Who wants to build a class action lawsuit against Cash App?

I had 7 different transactions for $5 pending on my chime account that were from TXTVRFY and were unauthorized. Chime cannot help me until the transactions go through and then file a dispute. I really hope I can get my money back.
