Customer received email about computer protection invoice7177860 for $512.84 from Geek Tech. The man named Tumpi Gupta allowed the customer to get him access, unsure of what website he used to get in. Once allowed on her computer, Tumpi offered to set her up with her banks online banking to complete payment. The hacker set her up online banking and said for her to type in 400., and the money would be transferred (which this transferred her own money $40,000 from her own savings to checking). Upon doing this he said she had transferred too much and now she need to go to her bank, don't tell anyone anything and withdraw $15000 to get back to them. At this time the customer called her bank, and holds were put on the account. She did eventually hang up and shut down the computer. Luckily the accounts are safe, but her info has been compromised.
