Modern Hearing promised an affordable hearing aid comparable to the ones sold at the doctor's office. I purchased a pair with the written and verbal promise that I could return within 45 days for a full refund if I did not like them. I received them and they whistle and are cheaply made. I have tried for 2 weeks to return the aids but all I get are automated emails asking me questions about my audiology report which I know nothing about. Now they are telling me that my case has to go before a review board before they will send me a return address and refund my money. I can't find a mailing address anywhere for these people and can't talk to a real person. I'm a 73 year old woman who lost $300 because of their scam.

Purchased Modern Hearing aids but did not see any difference or improvement in my hearing and asked for a refund during the 45 day trial period. We corresponded back and forth via email for several days as they made me jump through hoops with instructions trying different things before my last email requesting a refund. Final email stating they could only refund me 75.00 after I mail the hearing aids back. I will not accept this as they will just resell them for the full price. I will keep them at this point.
