- Baton Rouge, LA, USA

I contacted a car salesman named Robertson Roger. I sent my down payment for a car. I was told it would be delivered asap. Five minutes later i receive an email from the delivery service saying i had to pay 700.00 more for delivery. I paid that. I was sent another email telling me i needed to pay another 400.00 for taxes. I paid that as well. I was told that that was the last payment and then received another email requesting 900.00.

At that point, i was done with the whole process and cancelled the deal I was then told i had to contact James Mark and request a refund. At this point im not comfortable at all and was sent a link by James Mark to open an account at trust peak bank. The website does not look legit and asked for my personal information. I explained to him that im requesting my funds to be returned by check certified mail.

James Mark replied in all caps that i have to open the account and that was the only way i was going to receive my payment. At that point i knew it was a scam. I turned it all over to my bank to recover my payment. Until then im out 1600.00 dollars.
