This company presented itself as an organization that helps people in need. They had a whole sign up page with SoFi as the go through. The page asked basic personal information and the reason I needed help. Then within the messages on Facebook Messenger it stated to finish approval I would need to verify my identity. First my ID then they asked for my social. The page with the application said I was approved for $2800 but would need a guarantor to prove that I actually needed help and I was who I said I was. They said they would only have to verify their ID but the link that was sent wanted their social as well. This was on Monday and I haven't gotten any follow up about the matter.
