They claimed they were Tru North Resolutions and had a past check that was from 10 years ago that needed resolved or they would go after me in court for malicious intent on the check. They already had my last 4 of my SSN, they had an old address, and my current phone number. They refused to send anything via mail or email verifying this so-called debt, and when I would tell them politely that I wasn't comfortable giving that information, they got nasty, said 'have fun in court, get your affairs together' etc., and then hung up. Sounds and looks like this isn't the first time this has happened.
