I booked a flight online. One hour later got an email asking for "Urgent Call Back" as they "tried to reach you a couple of times regarding your reservation (booking reference # 00000). We would request you to give us a callback on our toll free number. For further information please contact us at 1-877-289-0215. We are happy to help.

Please note this is a different number than the 877 number on their website.

I called the number and was told this was a restricted economy flight and he needed to go over some information. He told me no luggage, personal item ok and I would receive a confirmation from the airlines within 4 hours. I did not.

I called again this morning and was told that the return flight was ok, but the initial flight "was denied by the airline" and I needed to "upgrade to basic economy". I asked if there was a charge for that, was told yes, $166 a leg. In my 2 flights there are 4 legs. Therefore a total of $917+ for a $253+ ticket. I said I wasn't going to pay that as I had paid them for a roundtrip flight and still don't have a roundtrip flight. They then informed me that the tickets were nonrefundable, I couldn't cancel them. I told them I don't have tickets and respectfully request a refund as they did not provide me with the promised tickets. I was told "sorry, you can't do that they are non refundable and you've already paid".

I called the bank, closed my Visa, disputed the charge and they are issuing me a new card. Good gracious I do NOT want this to happen to anyone else, so I am reporting it to you.

I had the same experience as well, once the rep sent out emails to call them back because our airfare booking to japan was in hold, I found it suspicious, and called united airlines, and they told me there is no such confirmation number in any reservation in our names. Then they called me to inform me, that this is a promotional airline ticket and that it had restrictions, like we couldn't bring any carry on, even if we are willing to pay for the additional fees, and that the ticket was not refundable, and that we couldn't check-in online.

Then he said we couldn't leave on the day of our reservation, because the airline raise up the fair, and that their policy says that the reservation is submitted to changes, by the airline, and then he said, that the departing flights would leave the day before, so my wife said. I can't I have to work, so when I told him, he said that in order to depart the original date, we had to pay 450 dollars more, I knew I was talking to a scammer. I told, we want to cancel, he said the tickets are not refundable in our policy, I told him, listen I'm a judge and I'm taking you to court and call the FBI on you for fraud, and my credit card company. Immediately I reported my credit card as stolen, I was lucky I act fast, before the transaction went through.

The next thing we know, is that we received airline tickets cancelation via our emails.

So if your account was compromised by these scammers reported to the local authorities and the FBI. This is a cyber crime. Don't give them your credit card, and if you did stop your credit card immediately, before is too late.

I received an email telling me my plane reservation was on hold and to call back. Then when I called back they told me the rep would call me back in 15-20 min. The rep called me and told me I could take zero baggage onto the plane including a purse. I told him no flight would tell you that you can not take a purse. He tried to get me to pay more for my flight in order to take a carry on and a backpack. I told him no I would not give him any payment info. I hung up and he kept trying to call me back but I did not answer.
