I used the myusatraveldocs.org website to initiate my passport. I reviewed the website after the fact and saw in very small print that they are not affiliated with the government department that issues passports. I have requested a full refund, as well as reporting them here. Sadly, when I googled online passport registration theirs is the first website to pop up, instead of our own government website. It is very deceiving as it has our capital building in their logo online making it look official. It is extremely rare that I make a mistake like this, as I usually read everything.
