Type of a scam Online Purchase

Called this company tonight asking for a tire change in New Jersey. A man with accent told me that they could have someone there in 30 minutes for $235 and wanted to take card number over the phone. When I asked where they were located he didn’t want to tell me. When I kept pressing the issue he said they weren’t in New Jersey, they were in a different company. The website doesn’t have any contact information, email, or where they are located. They are fake. A scam. Impersonating another company.

Townearby left me stranded with two infants and drained my bank account.

Townearby.com is a scam. They told us it would be $250 to tow our car to our home, and when they didn’t show up, they called and said “their truck broke down on the way” and “their sister company would do it for $450 more”. Went to see if the funds went out, and the account is drained entirely.

My young daughter called for a tow. They said she would be charged upfront and that it is 4th of July weekend. It was July 8th on a Monday. They said they would be there in 30 minutes and they never showed. She called to get her money back and they said they would do a partial refund but wasn’t done that. I her parent tried to call and get a refund and they wouldn’t talk to me and argued with me on the phone.
