I got a letter from TomHeffLP.com saying they had tried to contact me several times. An individual purporting to be Phillip Heffelfinger said he had the unclaimed Life Insurance Policy of a Mr. Marcus ***** (my last name) who died of COVID in Feb 4, 2020. The amount of the unclaimed funds was said to be in the sum of $11,550,300. He proposed to enter into a partnership with me to claim and split the funds. He described the process as "risk free;" and said he would give 10% to charity and we would split the other 90%. I suspected from the outset that it was some sort of scam and will not respond to the author in any way shape or form.
