Letter was dated February 26, 2026 and addressed to my wife with her first name and my family name which is only found in the public phone directory. Envelope had Aviva Markham, ON return address and Canada Post lettermail stamp #*******.

We live in Boucherville, Quebec. The list of provinces in pages following this one DOES NOT INCLUDE QUEBEC and does not allow me to use our current address. This complicates our ability to report this scam. Alternatively, I have entered our old Ontario address as a workaround.

Letter stated an unclaimed "permanent life insurance policy" from a late client with the same last name who had died 4 years ago due to COVID-19 complications.

Proposal was that 10% of the retrieved funds of $10,670,200 go to charities and the remaining 90% be divided equally.
