Timeshare Remedy, in particular, James Ettore, is a thief. He stole more than $11,000. right from my bank and never had permission, a contract…nothing. Is he in jail yet? Should be!

They offered financing through Wellsfargo. We now have a $4000 debt to Wells Fargo, a time share we tried to cancel, and unable to reach anyone at this company.

I'm glad you got the contact information. I'm Baseball950 and describe my meeting in my hometown in Washington state below. They also had the meeting at Red Lobster in December of 2022. For a short time I had James Ettore number because he called me when he learned that I was challenging the purchase of Timeshare Remedy. I knew it started with a (407) area code but I couldn't remember the rest. Thanks for posting.:)

We received a brochure in the mail for a meeting at Red Lobster. Never received the gas card, never received information in regards to the Travel Club which we paid an extra $1000. on top of the time share remedy. Texted the representative Jason Pride twice, and he texted back and said they were working on it and he promised it would go through that day. It didn't and now he no longer responds. We can't get through on the main TR Remedy website or phone number.

I too attended a meeting at a local restaurant in my hometown. It was in December of 2022. I arrived a little late & I noticed others were already eating. The main presenter's name was Rueben Roland and he didn't say much as he addressed the small crowd from the middle of the floor. Rueben explained that $69.95 would be charged on the card right away & the remining amount after two months time. I mainly went there because I was curious as to how cancels a deceased owner's timeshare. The timeshare belonged to my mom who passed away in 2019. Once I got my meal I noticed Rueben went from table to table to talk individually to each patron. Just like the other commenters above, I wasn't astute at the full cost nor did I fully understand how the timeshare would be canceled. I gave them my credit card & was told to initial a bunch of pages and then sign the last page. That's when I should have hesitated because I wasn't able to review each page. When I left the restaurant I never received any paperwork. To my surprise, when my credit card statement arrived I saw a charge for $6,995 & was due at the end of December. Shortly thereafter I called my credit card company & challenged the charge until they could investigate because I didn't have $6,995 to pay the full amount. When their attorney, James A. Ettore, became aware of the canceled charge he called and left a voice mail saying he was going to challenge this. My credit card company reversed the charge & then reapplied it after the paperwork was supplied to them. They then sent copies of the paperwork to me and my statement was due March 28. That gave me at least a little bit of time to figure how to pay the full amount. They also promised me a $50 gas card which was NOT the case. You had to purchase $50 worth of gas and provide the receipt to send in to an address where then you'd receive a voucher of some kind to get your $50 back. In essence, you had to spend $50 to get $50 back. They never canceled my mom's timeshare as the attorney told me to call the timeshare company and request an "estoppel". I told him I paid you guys a bunch of money so why should I have to do all the leg work. That's part of the reason why I challenged the charge. In conclusion, DO NOT do business with Timeshare Remedy for they are NOT upfront as far as costs are concerned, gifts promised, & the process that it take to cancel a timeshare when it's NOT in your name. You could probably do the task yourself to cancel the timeshare & save on the costs. One last thing, when filling out the cover sheet of information they led me to believe that I was coerced into buying the timeshare & that's what led me to initial all those pages. In reality, I don't know what the conversation was when my mom purchased hers; for she bought it in 1999.

I went to the same meeting as the previous person described above. It was held at a restaurant in Asheville. Unfortunately i wasn’t as astute as the other attendee and gave them my credit card for a fee of $5899. It was a very high pressure meeting and they kept shoving papers in front of me to sign. There was no $100 gas card as promised either but that is small compared to what they scammed me for. So i am taking legal action now. Beware of this Florida company.

I received a card in the mail to attend a time share presentation at a restaurant to help get rid of my Timeshare they wanted me to get a credit card for over 8 thousand dollars to pay off my timeshare and they would get paid. After we didn't agree with a credit card they quit talking to us about the time share but as my husband and myself sit and listen to them how they tried to get these old people to sign up for other stuff and give them their credit card we new something was not right..we asked for name and the person gave us a card with his name and business card we took a picture of it also they changed the restaurant and we kept the voicemail of the other call from the person I suppose was working with them . We got a meal and They promised us a 100.00 gas card that we didn't get but since then numbers have been disconnected or the voicemail is full.
