Currently engaged with the 2005 airstream scam in the DFW, TX area. Thank you all for commenting your experiences. I’m going to waste their time. Maybe even try to dig up more info (IP address, report email address, etc) and sink this ship. They’ll probably just start up another name/email though...

This person is such a fraud! They first told me that they were stationed somewhere in Alaska, and now she's saying something else! I figured it was a scam due to the price, but I thought I would ask for more pictures just to verify. I think these are just pictures from someone else's ad. Sad that they are probably scamming lots of people out of $1,200!

This person is using the same M.O. in Maine! She just listed the same Bambi Airstream for $1200 and her response was nearly identical to others listed here. My brother is a retired Marine and I come from a military family and myself served 34 years in civilian government employment. I find this to be particularly offensive and an example of stolen valor, given there is even a picture in uniform attached! I have thus reported this to the AF base in Omaha where she claims to have been recently stationed. There is also other venues to report stolen valor perps; I encourage anyone else to report these ads to military resources in your area where the scams are being perpetrated as well. (She/he will unfortunately re-invent themselves with a new persona but not if the military catches up with them first!) Shame on them for using a brave, military employee's picture even - very brazen!

This person is selling the Airstream again, this time a 2004, for $1600 on Facebook Marketplace in the Seattle area. Her "sister" is managing the sale. Same story of being in the military and being transferred from Offutt air force base in Nebraska to Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage due to promotion. I was looking into the person since That is way to good to be true. Glad I did!
