Tickets-Center.com Reports & Reviews – Page 3 (44)

On 12/8/16 I purchased 6 tickets to a festival from Tickets-Center.com. The site was listed first in a Google search for tickets to the festival. After purchasing the tickets, I found out they were scalpers, and discovered I had paid 3 times what the real tickets cost on the official festival site, plus an added service fee of $210.00! I went back to the site and it clearly reads at the top, "Money Back Guarantee" and the statement of tickets being non-refundable is not visible.

I immediately called the 800# to Tickets-Center.com and spoke with the manager, asking/demanding a refund. I was told the tickets are non-refundable and that this was stated on the site in "fine print." The manager said they could not help me, but offered to refund $200, which I declined as being very unfair. When I asked why the tickets were so expensive, they said I was purchasing "second party" tickets, and although I disputed this with them, they would not help me. The advertising is deceptive!

I then called my credit card company (within the hour after transaction) and the charge is now under dispute to hopefully reverse the charges. I will be surprised to get backing from the card company, and am afraid the site is going to keep ripping people off. It is engineered to rip you off but they have it covered legally. Very tricky.

Tickets-Center .com takes over the website of a business for an event to increase ticket prices that are paid to them. They overtake the actual event site as an imposter to have the consumer purchase from them. They increase the price by 200% and charge a $25 service fee. When you receive your tickets, you see the original price that they should sale for, but Tickets-Center overtakes the sale and places their price on it which is increased 200%. They will not refund you and treat you as if you knew about their scandalous practices before purchase. I say they are a scam to prey upon consumers rather than to get a life, be a hard working citizen they choose to leach off of others to profit only themselves. LOSERS and FRAUD ARTISTS!!!!

I went to purchase tickets for a Shinedown/Breaking Benjamin concert at the Mohegan Sun in Uncastelville, CT. I went directly to the venue and clicked on the Ticketmaster link. The show looked like it was selling out so I quickly chose the best seats for the amount of money I could afford and purchased them. Upon being brought to my receipt page it was not Ticketmaster, in fact it was ticket-center. The receipt claimed that I would receive an email with digital tickets and there was a phone number for customer service. I waited three days and no email. In fact I did not even get a confirmation email of my receipt. Thankfully I had taken a snapshot of it as I tend to do just in case. I called the number and they stated all sales are final etc. and that they are a third party seller which I had no intentions of buying from! There was no one to speak with, just an voicemail, which I left. A few days longer and I felt like I was being scammed. I called my bank and they stated that I had to wait for my credit card to be charged before I went through with a complaint. I waited another week and the charge was processed and a completely different number was attached to that charge on my statement. I called that number and was unable to speak to anyone, but instead got an email address. I sent and email stating that I had not gotten an email with my tickets. The response was prompt and I was told that my tickets were being re-sent. I have been checking my junk/spam folder also since purchasing the tickets. Nothing for another three days. I emailed again and got no response. I am now in process of the dispute and have had to pay for two more tickets in a completely different state because the venue is now sold out. Beware of where you are on a ticket site. This link completely made it seem like they were legitimate and part of Ticketmaster. I have since read reviews of this website and some people didn't even get tickets, or got tickets just to not be able to enter the venue.
