Type of a scam Online Purchase

Scam

It appears to be a solid website with products for sale. I went thru paypal to pay for the items and then that amount was changed the following day; more than I authorized. As people described, the company doesn't exist and a dispute was filed. I found the product on Google Shopping and it was the 3rd item listed. What do I say they got me.

The (fake) website shows thousands of in-stock products. I placed an order for a product, but I did not receive a receipt or order confirmation from the (fake) merchant. Instead, my credit card was charged through PayPal and I received a receipt from PayPal. I have filed a dispute with PayPal, but that will take a week or longer. In the meantime, I have confirmed there is no business at the stated address, the listed phone number does not work or is disconnected, and the website is fake, although functional.

I made a purchase online with the Surety Marketplace (thesuretymarketplace.com) I noticed a very deep discount of $323.38, on my order of $422.38 resulting in a total purchase of $99.00. I thought this looked suspicious, so I went to Google Maps and the store shows as a residential apartment unit in San Luis Obispo, CA. I also tried to e-mail them to request my personal information not be sold under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and I received a mail delivery daemon from Gmail that the email address info@thesuretymarketplace does not exist, or is not receiving email. Also, their phone number is non-contactable. I definitely smell a scam of some sort, and am watching my credit card that I used for the purchase.
