I was trying to get refund from United Airline; for some reason, I was connected with an Infinity Travels agent after searching for United Air Customer Support number online. This agent (Alvin) falsely claimed to be an United Air agent. He said to get the partial refund, I'll need to pay cancellation fee first. He then proceed with getting my credit card number and asked me to pay $200 to infinity travels. He said infinity travels is a partner of United that process its refund. I did that, and received an email from Infinity saying my refund will arrive in 14 business days. More than 14 business days later, when I still didn't receive my refund, I contacted United Air. It turns out to be a lie: United didn't charge me that $200; Infinity did while pretending to represent United. And United never worked with Infinity. I have filed credit card claim and disputed the charge, but i want to make sure others who fell for this scam know Infinity Travels is not legit.
