My husband was looking for a tractor on FB Marketplace. He found one offered by Gears Garage. My husband talked to the guy who had an Asian accent. He went to the bank and wired $9900. They were supposed to deliver it on 3.10.25. We returned from our vacation early to receive it, but nothing arrived. We called, but they would not pick up. They also did not respond to emails and texts we sent. The next day, we contacted our bank and they filed paperwork to reverse the transaction which was unsuccessful. We also filed a police report. Their website www.thegearsgarge.com is no longer valid. I found another listing on FB for the same tractor which tracks to www.thepremiumwheels.com, which was just created on 3.10.25.

I am 80 years old. I saw a tractor advertsed on Facaebook under The Gears Garage. They are supposed to be on Refugee Rd, Columbus, OH. I called and talked to a guy who sounded foreign, maybe Indian.

I saw an ad on Facebook marketplace for a Kubota tractor. It was a good price so I went to their website https://thegearsgarage.com/ and looked up the item. I enter my first name, a shorten last name, my home address, cell phone number, and email address on a purchase agreement. I received a called the next day asking me to complete the purchase agreement. I asked about what forms of payment they accept and the sales representative (with a heavy accent) said they only accept direct bank transfers. That raised some concerns so I asked a question about transportation and he said he would have to get back to me. He never called back. In the meantime I google earthed their business address and I couldn’t find their business name on any signs. I searched up and down the street. I did find other business names on signs so I called the business that should have been right next door. I spoke with a lovely woman who has worked at that location for 30 years and she had never heard of gears garage. She even went on google earth herself and could not find the business. I have not contacted gears garage since nor have they reached out to me. I also checked ScamPulse.com but they are not listed. I am concerned they have my personal information and they are scammers. Is there something I should do? Thank you
