Online Airline Tickets Purchase Scam

Booked 3 seats on a flight. Never received email or any info. Called the number on site, they claimed that my rsvp was canceled due to airline suspected fraud. Agent Romy Evans took my call. But claimed my credit card is being charged. Said they tried to contact me to verify, but I didn’t answer. I had 2 calls from unknown numbers total that they claim weren't them. They said they also emailed me trying to save the trip from cancelation. I have no emails. That's why I called. Now the promotion I booked under is gone, and the southwest price is supposedly almost triple, but instead I can use credit I was issued to get tix through American for $750. I eventually asked if the site was itself a scam, were they legitimate? The agent got all sort of upset and said I was offensive. He said he gave me all the info he could and that he was offering me the best deal available due to the mix-up. Somehow, my name was listed for all 3 tickets, instead of mine and each child. He claims that's why it was flagged fraud, and canceled, but that my card was charged, and now I have the $495 in credit with southwest. But no that verification or confirmation of these credits was possible. Only able to do so through him and the company. I said if southwest issued them, that I should be able to call them and verify. He said I could try, but due to scammers they won't work with me, only the booking agency. By the end of the call, he was severely irritated and said he was "working his [censored] off for me" and it was offensive that I said they were fraudulent. I corrected him, I never said that, I asked if their site was legitimate or a scam. He could not say yes or no, just kept getting more agitated. I continued asking, just say yes or no to the legitimacy. He then danced around further agitated, stating that plenty of people book their flights through them.
