Just had an interview with The Balance Career for an online Data Entry job. I scored 95% and they want to pay me $ 25 per hour for 30 to 40 hours of work per week.

I asked about equipment and got a text that I would have to purchase an Apple phone, apple computer, and laser printer from Best Buy. I asked about a price-guaranteed agreement with Best Buy to make sure that all funds that deposit will cover the total amount.

They want to deposit the funds in my credit card and now are asking for my card number and limit.

This sounds like a new type of scam.

They said they had a job paying $25 an hour. They also said the company would pay for brand new equipment all Apple Products. He then stole $86 from me and mailed checks to me in my name. He said I would be reimbursed but wasn’t. He then had me write a check for near $10,000 and deposit it into my account. Then another check for a little over $2,000. He had me withdraw $3,000 and send him the money via prepaid cards you can get from Walmart. After that was done he ghosted me and the checks came back as returned. So now my family and I lost close to $3,000.
