Was contacted by person claiming to be Abel told me I needed a fan card to personally speak to him. I was to purchase a gift card in the amount of 200.00 because that's what the card cost . His phone number is 717 7509736 his accountants phone number is 239 3108196 I have not purchased a gift card

Scammer pretending to be The Weeknd

He befriended me online and once he got my trust he scammed me out of $800 for a ticket on cash app. I’ve been talking to this person since March 2022. When I requested my money back he refused to return it and was very inconsistent with his story. He is a catfish who has multiple Instagram accounts using different people/celebrities pictures he downloaded from the internet and Pinterest. The number also is a text app number from California, but his Instagram account originated from Brazil.

Was asking me to buy him gift card and put good act on like it was him with his words as soon as he went on video chat lasted less than second I knew it was fake he wouldn’t call me either area code was 267 in America

A business associate received what she thought was a legit email intended for my boss. She ****** ** ********** forwarded it to us.

I believe this to be a phishing scam related to a "fake" online purchase. See the last paragraph of the email.

Someone should tell the organizers of "The Weeknd: The After Hours Tour"
